RESULTS OF THE DIPLOMA PRIZE COMPETITION OF CONSTRUCTION SCIENCE ASSOCIATION

Abstract

The Construction Science Association has also announced its diploma prize application in 2023. Anyone who obtained a degree in a field related to the construction industry during 2023 could apply for the public, secret (marked) tender. Applications for the award could be submitted in four main categories, which were as follows: architect, civil engineer, building mechanical / electrical engineer, and other specializations related to the built environment (e.g. landscape architect, project manager, etc.). The application process for the diploma prize took place entirely digitally. Submission deadline was September 3. The jury primarily evaluated the technical solutions and content of the tenders. After reviewing the applications, the jury decided to award one diploma prize and two commendations. At the diploma prize competition, Török Péter received a diploma prize for his work entitled “H2Zoo Water Recycler, Győr”. Bánkúti Eszter was commended for her work entitled “Mother's Home, Zalaegerszeg” and Horváth Martina for her work entitled “Animal Shelter, Győr”. The editorial board of the Magyar Építőipar journal hereby congratulates the successful applicants and wishes them a life rich in achievements in the construction field. On the following pages, we provide a brief summary of the three mentioned diploma theses.
