CARBON NEUTRAL BUILDINGS

Abstract

The reason for climate change is that after the industrial revolution, we have been releasing ever-increasing amounts of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. The previous balance, the emission into the atmosphere and the removal from the atmosphere by plants, has been distorted, and more emissions have been released than removed. We use the most energy and emit the most carbon dioxide through our buildings and living environments. Therefore, I consider it of utmost importance that, in the interests of our grandchildren’s survival, we present the results of environmentally friendly, carbon-neutral building technologies and encourage their application in the widest possible way.
