Abstract

In many ways, pandemic COVID19 has changed our daily lives, including the practice of education. The aim of this paper is to review the impact of these changes on architectural education. Based on the international literature on architectural education for the period 2020-2023, three main trends can be identified: the response to the challenges of the current socio- economic environment, with environmental sustainability as a major theme; the renewal of teaching-learning methods, with an emphasis on problem-based education; and the increasing role of information and communication technology tools in teaching methods.
